We advertise available properties for at least one week. This is called an 'advertising cycle'. The advertising cycle starts on a Wednesday and ends at Midnight on the following Tuesday.
You can see our latest properties by going to Property Search.
You can also see what properties are currently being advertised by:
Each advertised property tells you the landlord, location, size, rent and other features of the property to help you decide which properties are right for you. The advert also tells you if there are any special requirements that the applicant must meet, such as the band awarded or specific age requirements.
We do not advertise the house number so you will not be able to view the property unless it is offered to you. Where available a photograph of the property or a similar house type is provided and you can access a map and information about the local area and facilities.
If you wish to be considered for a property you must bid for it. This is your way of telling the South Derbyshire Homefinder Landlord that you would like to live in the property. You can bid for up to six properties in each advertising cycle.
You can only bid for properties where you meet the requirements for the property. You will be told if you are not able to bid for a property.
You can bid for a property:
As you bid you will also be able to find out your queue position for the property. This is your position on the shortlist. Your position may change during the advertising cycle. You can check this and, if you feel that you won't be offered the property, wiwithdraw your bid and it to another property.
